Public domain[edit]

From my understanding of copyright law, when a film's copyright lapses, the movie is considered in the public domain in its totality. That doesn't affect the copyright of works which are in the movie (such as songs). VictorianMutant(Talk) 21:47, 10 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

production information[edit]

Most articles on films include this: when it was in the planning stages, why this project was chosen. I ask because this film had the same feel to me as His Majesty O"Keefe, which was picked to finish off a particular studio deal. Both are formulaic and sort of a walk through, and Lancaster did some of his trademark shtick but none of his really great work you see in films that bracket them like Come Back Little Sheba or The Rose Tattoo. 100.15.117.34 (talk) 16:41, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
