Misc[edit]

This is a question for user:Epicgenious. I work in the marketing department at Vecima Networks and made some changes/updates to this wiki page which were reverted by you (via STiki). How can I get my changes to stick? Thank you. MKT771 (talk) 20:55, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

MKT771 - Edit details for Vecima Networks Wikipedia page made on Dec. 10, 2013:

The company infobox has been updated to reflect current data.

The company logo was removed from the infobox to make the page less commercial. (The logo that was there was not current anyway since it lacked the Registered Trademark symbol on it). I have not been Wikipedia editor long enough to be able to upload images.

The company description was changed to provide basic, non-commercial information.

The product section was removed to make the page less commercial. Instead, I have added general product category descriptions in the company infobox.

The history section has been refined.

The External Reference titled "Jun 2008 Vecima's HyperQAM Receives 3.5 Diamonds Rating" has been removed since it is commercial in nature, is 5 years old, and the product referenced has been discontinued.

The External Reference titled "Record $30.4 million Third Quarter in 2008" has been removed since it is a primary source that is 5 years old. All Vecima press releases since 2002 may be accessed from its web site if desired.

The External Reference Brick, Alan. "Vecima Networks to Acquire Spectrum Signal Processing in Cash and Share Transaction", Canada Tech.info, February 16, 2007. has been removed since the article is no longer on that web site. All Vecima press releases since 2002 may be accessed from its web site if desired.

The External Reference titled "WALLSTREETREPORTER interview with Surinder Kumar - CEO" has been removed since the article is no longer on that web site. All Vecima press releases since 2002 may be accessed from its web site if desired.

The External Reference titled "Wright Reports - Company Profile Snapshot" has been removed since the server at wrightreports.ecnext.com. cannot be found.

The External Reference titled "ANNUAL INFORMATION FORM for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2013" has been added as a reliable, published source of information.

The External Reference titled "Vecima Announces Planned Succession and New Board Member" has been added as a reliable, published source of information.

The External Reference titled "VCom Inc. Files Final Prospectus for $25 Million Initial Public Offering" has been added as a reliable, published source of information.
