Crew[edit]

Did the crew not attempt to help the passengers evacuate? Nil Einne (talk) 12:53, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It is interesting how lopsided the survivor list is. One has to wonder if the crew faced criticism for saving themselves and letting the passengers die (but finding out might involve reading Portuguese).--Piledhigheranddeeper (talk) 01:04, 16 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Notable deaths[edit]

As per the guidelines set forth in WP:AVIATION, I've removed all of the "notable" deaths except for the fellow who actually has a Wikipedia page. In general, if they're not notable enough to have their own article, they're not notable enough to have a mention. --Mûĸĸâĸûĸâĸû (blah?) 03:52, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Contradiction[edit]

The lead section of the article, as well as the infobox, state that there were 11 survivors, 10 of whom were crew members, while the "Passengers" section says that there were 12 survivors, including 11 crew members. Which is right? --Whoop whoop pull up Bitching Betty | Averted crashes 21:58, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

New editor edit request on 12 July 2021[edit]

  • What I think should be changed:

The heading for the section titled "Crash" should be changed.

  • Why it should be changed:

The plane didn't actually crash. In the first paragraph of the "Crash" section, it states, "The aircraft landed in a field 5 km short of the runway, in a full-flap and gear-down configuration."

  • References supporting the possible change (format using the "cite" button):

No reference other than what's stated in the article itself. But this edit request is related to an edit request for the July 11 page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:July_11

No refs, but I do not anticipate a section renaming to be contested. Rotideypoc41352 (talk · contribs) 01:45, 5 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
