Rename Page[edit]

This article should be moved to Vampires (1998 film) since there is a film with the same name in 1986. Nehrams2020 02:06, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is article is written worse then the sequels.

Fair use rationale for Image:Vampires.jpg[edit]

Image:Vampires.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Just a little something for future readers of this article[edit]

One of these days, an editor bold enough and with enough time on their hands will come along and fix the article. When that happens, the beautifully convulted and longwinded plot description (comparable to the one that currently does injustice to the Eden Lake article) will be lost, and I'd just like to leave the following gem here for future readers. It's possibly the best single sentence I've ever read on Wikipedia:

The slayers stay at a motel in the middle of a desert, getting drunk, smoking and courting with women as they celebrate their victory.

"Woods was interested in doing the film because he had never been offered a horror film before and wanted to try something new." Videodrome anyone???
