Missing Scenes[edit]

I've been hearing rumors lately thast the DVD version of Valmont has been edited. What exactly is the deal here? Sweetfreek 04:59, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Something is up alright, just watched the DVD and the plot doesn't quite match the version I saw on television a few years back. In the TV version I saw, I seem to recall that Tourvel was thrown out of her house by her husband. AadaamS (talk) 20:44, 22 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Having just watched the film on MGM HD and doing a little digging, I can confirm that about a minute is missing from the Region 1 DVD. I added a summary to the article. —MJBurrage^(T•C) 22:52, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Problems with the tone of some sentences[edit]

What follows is a tangled web of lies, loves and hates as each character tries to scheme their way to their preferred conclusion. This needs to be replaced with an exact description of the plot.

"Missing Original Scenes on MGM DVD". This whole section needs to be rewritten from a neutral point of view. At the moment it's simply unsourced personal opinion, especially the final sentence. --Folantin 15:45, 30 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
