Bio-Sand Filters[edit]

Currently the school has raised enough for 29 water filters. They are raising money for a good cause. It has been run by the Samaritan's Purse a brilliant charity.Ambirch1 19:57, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

8AY[edit]

Djminisite has added 8AY with no online citation and claims "8Ay is another class that raised a large sum of money for this work. After having many good ideas taken by other classes they decided to do a tombola. Many prizes were donated by local shops in Whitley Bay as a chritable contribuation This proved very succesful and is still remembered in school." Does anyone know if they were in the newspaper like 7CH and how much they raised. If they were not in a newspaper with any citations they may not be notable. Bio Sand Water Filters[edit]

All be it a good fundraising effort should we remove the detail and just have a summary as it is a past event and we have reached the end of a school year. I believe that this section should be removed for 2 reasons:
It is out of date.
It focuses on two classes and makes this look less like a whole school project.
