Q & A[edit]

Whos donnelled? --81.129.58.70 (talk) 14:22, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I was wondering the same thing (and also who is Shelby?) both names get mentioned but seem to have nothing to do with anything. I'd change the names but I dunno, they could somehow have something to do with the song.PigManDan (talk) 00:41, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I always wondered what amy winehouse was saying in the very beginning of valerie. ha it all makes sense now —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jaskade (talkcontribs) 00:11, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Doesnt this wiki page contain an awful lot of focus on winehouse? Isnt it supposed to be about he zutons version — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.48.176.22 (talk) 18:43, 26 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It does, and at the same time, it organizes that information poorly. If you read the Mark Ronson section, you'll notice it says, at the end, "Winehouse had previously recorded a slower-tempo version of the song, which appeared as bonus track on the deluxe edition of Back to Black." That's the version I was familiar with, and it's the one I thought all those other artists are paying tribute to. Focusing on the Mark Ronson version is, itself, odd. And just the way that whole paragraph is hidden almost tries to hide the Back to Black version. And, as though that wasn't enough, it seems the Zuttons version wasn't even the original. Ugh. I thought this was older. You're absolutely right. This article is pretty bad. Daniel J. Hakimi (talk) 11:26, 13 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

HI! I was just wondering if anyone knows who WROTE the song? This page doesnt say The Zutons WROTE it... And this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xA-r4EisSY seems to suggest its actually an old track. Can anyone check the credibility of the link, and find out the writer??? The Zutons wrote this song and own the rights to it, including the moral right to be identified as its authors. Asking the question about the spoof video here on the talk page is legitimate. However the people who are adding that info to the writers credit on the page itself are breeching Wikipedia's guidelines on copyright and breeching the Zuton's own rights. Effectively, they are breaking the law, and are leaving themselves open to being sued. (I note that Google have already taken down a load of search results for this reason, so it looks as though the rights' owners are actively seeking out people to launch legal challenges against at this moment). Intro section[edit]

Would it be worth mentioning the Mark Ronson version in the intro section? On the Zutons band page, the Mark Ronson version of this song is mentioned in the intro paragraph,s o it seems fitting that it would be mentioned in the intro here too. -KaJunl (talk) 22:23, 8 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
