Dubious[edit]

I added the "dubious" tag to the claim that Trierweiler will be "the next First Lady of France from May 2012" because she's only the girlfriend (domestic partner at most) of President-elect François Hollande, NOT his wife. The "First Lady of France" link redirects to Wife of the President of the French Republic; the list includes François Mitterrand's wife Danielle Mitterrand instead of his never-really-secret mistress Anne Pingeot. The ONLY ways this could be true are if Hollande were to (a) marry Trierweiler sometime this month, unlikely given Hollande's relationship history (he never married Ségolène Royal either), or (b) declare her his "First Lady" since he's not married, much like unmarried U.S. Presidents have designated a hostess (usually a female relative) as First Lady--in which case the underlying article should be renamed "First Lady of France" or "First Lady of the French Republic". --RBBrittain (talk) 22:49, 6 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I should add there is NO evidence from his Wikipedia article that Hollande has EVER been married; his only personal relationships listed there are "domestic partner" (Royal 1973-2007, Trierweiler 2007-present) and "children" (four, all by Royal). --RBBrittain (talk) 22:59, 6 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"She" is the same person referrred to by "Her". If "she" is incorrect, then "Her" is incorrect. However, that unnamed person not only is the subject of the article, but also is explicitly named in the previous sentence. Esmito (talk) 13:22, 18 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

France does not have a first lady[edit]

Did she acknowledge relationship with Hollande in 2010, or November 2007?[edit]

François Hollande#Personal life states "In November 2007, Trierweiler confirmed and openly discussed her relationship with Hollande in an interview with the French weekly Télé 7 Jours." But this article says she "made it public in October 2010". There appears to be a contradiction, which should be corrected in one article or the other.

Or does "made it public" mean a greater level of publicity than a published interview? Like perhaps she started accompanying him to official functions? If so, a bit of clarification would be useful.
