Although MuchMusic claims that Canada will vote to have the final say as to who will be the next VJ it has been rumored that Tim Deegan has already been selected by the suits of CHUM to be the stations next VJ. Biased line[edit]

Is it just me or does the line in the trivia section seem somewhat biased? The line is something like:

"Most believed Sean should have won."

The article for Sook-Yin Lee states that she identifies as bisexual. Wouldn't this make her the first LGBT Much VJ?

Aaron Straite?[edit]

Didn't he win in 2002? He lasted until August(6 month contract I believe). Not sure if I spelled his name right.

Comment @Korny O'Near: Not being at all famailiar with the subject, is there a reason not to just move it to VJ Search? If there is a reason not to move it to VJ Search, the page refers to it as both MusicMuch VJ Search and Much VJ Search, should one be preferred over the other? --Ahecht (TALK

Move to VJ Search, the actual title of the show. Prepending "MuchMusic" (which, yes, should not be misspelled "Muchmusic") is an attempt at disambiguation, but this does not need to be disambiguated. Change of vote - I just wanted to fix a capitalization error, but it looks like I wandered into a thicket! This is indeed a tricky issue, because it looks like the series has never had consistent naming. It has had three seasons - in 2006, 2009 and 2013 - and each time it had different naming. The 2006 season seems to have been named MuchMusic VJ Search: The Series, the 2009 season was MuchMusic VJ Search 2.0, and the 2013 season was Much VJ Search - befitting the name change of the channel - or even Fructis Fruit Sensation Presents: Much VJ Search. I don't think VJ Search was ever the correct name for the series, even though that's how IMDb refers to it for its 2013 season. I think the name of the channel is an integral part of the title, like it is for Food Network Star. Given that, I guess I change my vote for the title to be Much VJ Search instead. It's the name of the most recent season, and if there are any more seasons in the future they will presumably have the same name. Korny O'Near (talk) 17:35, 15 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
