eMusic[edit]

The addition of V2 Records to eMusic is a relatively big deal for fans of the artists that V2 carries, because it means their music is available at a much lower price than it was before and without the DRM used on other sites. So I figured I'd mention it here. Any disagreements, let me know. - Stick Fig 07:37, 28 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Independent"[edit]

V-2 is/was not an independent label. The article currently calls it one, and also "part of the Virgin group." It can't be both independent and part of a major label. The stated intention from the start with V-2 was for it to be an "independent-style" label, so I'm changing "independent" to "independent-style". --Strangepalefighter 23:07, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, leaving it as is. I don't think it makes much sense (aside from business sense on V2's part) to consider it independent but there are loads of references to it as one. Many of them are in press releases, but they're there nonetheless. --Strangepalefighter 23:25, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like V2 has shut down.
