Young Pietermaritzburg Leader[edit]

Lindokuhle Zungu was born in 1995 at a small village called KwaNoshezi. He did his primary school at a local community school Kwanshozi Primary until grade 3. He then went on to a school called Green Hill Primary School where he went up to grade 6. He moved to another school at this point in his life called Prestbury Primary School. He did his entire high school at M.L Sultan (P.M.B) Secondary School. It was at his high school that he showed leadership qualities. He served on the Representative Council of Learners for 4 years from grade 9 till grade 12. He became the president of the RCL in 2011. He also represented the school in many debate and public speaking competitions such as Anglo American Young Communicators awards and Department of Transport Road Safety Debates. At the end of his high school career he was awarded by his school, the good fellowship award and student of the year award. He was accepted at Rhodes University to study towards his law degree. He has been involved in One Young World Summit as a South African Delegate. He has shown alot of interest in student leadership and governance and has been very much politically aware.
