Removal of irrelevant information and deceptive citations[edit]

CUSG is the most powerful student government in the nation in terms of the amount of controlled funds and level of autonomy. This would be a good source of notability except it's sourced to [1]. The link is dead, but I'm sure their constitution doesn't explicitly guarantee that UW-Madison's student government must be less powerful than theirs. If this is to be included, it must be attributed to an independent and reliable source.

The Sierra Club's "Greenest School" award was to the university generally. They did not explicitly credit the student government as the article falsely asserts.

The section on cost centers is irrelevant to the student government. It is also too full of mission statements and reads like advertisements for the programs, and indirectly to the government for approving their budget and allowing them to exist.

I was very tempted to take it to AfD except for the coverage of the 2010 election. A more deletionist editor might still do so. Kilopi (talk) 09:48, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
