Past Members[edit]

Does anyone have a list of past chairs and committee members? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.183.16.167 (talk)

History[edit]

It would be nice if the history listed the date the name change occurred to its current name. JettaMann (talk) 15:09, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Split in the 111th Congress[edit]

Question. The House Financial Services has split one of its subcommittees into separate committees. How would we handled the old one? In the past we created redirect from the old to new, moving the page as appropriate so the history remains intact. However, in this case they're being split. Do I move and redirect one and create a new page for the other? What do you think? See: United States House Committee on Financial Services#Subcommittees. Press release from the Ranking Member on the new changes and new subcommittee structure is in the article.DCmacnut<> 21:40, 9 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • I suggest creating two new pages. The old page should reference this new split and then it becomes a defunct subcommittee. What do you think?—Markles 21:53, 9 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
