The UN link says they don't meet annually anymore? --65.110.129.232 00:43, 20 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That's correct. There are no longer any trust territories, so there would be nothing for the Council to discuss. The only meetings are occasion ones, usually for ceremonial type reasons. Newyorkbrad (talk) 20:56, 24 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Shouldn't we list what the trusteeship territories were? The map doesn't even have a key to indicate which color represents the trust territories, or what any of the colors mean. john k (talk) 18:59, 24 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A complete list of the former trust territories is at trust territories. That article is linked from this one, but maybe you can find a way to make it more clear. Newyorkbrad (talk) 20:56, 24 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What about Ryukyu Kingdom for UN Trusteeship Council?[edit]

USA says Japan only has the administrative rights over the islets, while Japan says Ryukyu islets belong to Japan, and both China and Taiwan claim partial sovereignty on Diaoyutai as part of the Ryukyu islets. Even some local people of Okinawa prefecture of Japan was itself a Kingdom State before Japan annexed them as Ryukyu Kingdom.
