Definition of North Wales[edit]

I am confused at the definition of North Wales used here, most modern sources include Meirionnydd (southern Gwynedd). I understand it has to be based on the constituency boundaries and there are multiple definitions of North Wales, which is why maybe using a different but more clear division than regions should be considered if possible. However the map and the boundaries used in this article is what "North Wales" means by the Senedd for its elections not the UK parliament nor UK general elections.

Still not sure why dividing it by regions is needed, they're not considered in these elections. Lists by preserved county such as List of parliamentary constituencies in Clwyd exist. Plus the definition of North Wales may greatly change following the next boundary review implementation. DankJae 09:02, 20 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
