COI[edit]

In response to the Conflict of Interest tag, I am not a member of the Underhill Society of America. I have striven to maintain a neutral point of view, and include relevant secondary documents to support all assertions that are made. I have received no compensation or benefit for developing this page, and take offense at anyone suggesting otherwise. Placepromo (talk) 01:37, 27 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • I removed the tag as no evidence has been given to justify it, and while you have lots of edits in related articles, you have lots of other edits as well, clearly demonstrating you aren't a SPA. I have also withdrawn my nominations in two AFDs on articles you created after consulting with someone who knows more about these things than I do. Sorry for any inconvenience or misunderstanding. The AFDs still exist until an Admin closes, and they may let them run their course, but there is an admin involved who believes they are notable, which helps. I need to point out that it is not the admin who decides. The community decides, and the admin decides what the view is of those members of the community who have expressed an opinion that is based on policy and matches the situation. I have, for example, closed many AfDs as delete though I may personally have thought otherwise. DGG ( talk ) 02:04, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of MILHIST tag[edit]

I have removed the MILHIST tag. Although Underhill was a soldier, the Underhill Society has no obvious military connection and there is no military content in the article. As such, it is non-notable in a military context.Monstrelet (talk) 11:24, 27 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
