This article contradicts the article sea lettuce. This page states that the kingdom is Protista while the other states that it is Plantae.

Further on this point, both the ITIS Report and wikispecies consider Ulva lactuca to be within the kingdom Plantae.

Are either wikispecies or ITIS considered a final arbiter for difficult classification decisions here at wikipedia? Peter 06:18, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm new to this contraption - and a bit old for it. Who/what is ITIS? As to whether Ulva is Plantae or Protista depends on which book you read. I'll leave it in Plantae. Does not matter much, it's a plant to me! Osborne 16:09, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
