Confusing two subjects[edit]

The lead section of this page implies that the Winnipeg Ukrainian Labour Temple is the subject, but the History section is written about the 1950 bombing of a Ukrainian Labour Temple. It is worth considering Whether this article should be split in two, but that depends on whether we are able to find adequate sources/notability for both. My perception is that the Winnipeg temple was a significant establishment within the larger ULFTA, whereas the Toronto temple is mostly notable as the site of the bombing, so perhaps an article on the bombing itself should be the second article. I am not sure about creating an article about the bombing incident. It would be a very short stub. I think shifting and perhaps shortening the section to AUUC seems appropriate. But I have no objections either way. — hako9 (talk) 10:40, 2 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Handpigdad
I have removed the entire section along with the tag. Would you be kind enough to add and/or rephrase it on to the AUUC article please. But If you'd like to expand the scope of this article itself along with now deleted para, I'd be okay with it too. — hako9 (talk) 15:34, 6 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks @Hako9! I will try to get to it this week. I have been very busy, apologies for not replying earlier. I really appreciate you having written that paragraph, and i'm happy to put it in the proper place. I also want to see if i can find any other news stories about it in newspaper archives. I've only ever seen that one news article cited, and surely there's more out there. I don't think these sorts of events were exactly commonplace in Canada at the time.
