Population error?[edit]

The population given in the Infobox of 1,1844,669 in 2015 is the same as that given for the whole province the previous year. it also conflicts wildly with the estimate of 200,000 for 2006 given in the text of the article. While I do not have a source to give a better figure, the one given is clearly wrong! Consistency of name[edit]

The name of this city should be consistent. Both "Ubon Ratchathani" and "Ubon" are used. It's true that there is mention that the shorter name "Ubon" is often used, and this is certainly helpful. But one form should be selected for use throughout the article. Jkgree (talk) 18:36, 29 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
