Some proposed changes[edit]

  • What I think should be changed: Change name from "US SIF: The Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment" to "US SIF: The Sustainable Investment Forum"
  • Why it should be changed: US SIF updated its name in June 2023 to US SIF: The Sustainable Investment Forum
  • References supporting the possible change (format using the "cite" button):[1]

  • What I think should be changed: Could you please add a line saying: "US SIF publishes the biennial Trends report" to the top section of the page
  • Why it should be changed: One of US SIF's primary contributions is its biennal Trends report. The latest one was published in December 2022. This report provides valuable market research by identifying and documenting the ESG themes and developments of growing interest to investors. It is widely distributed to policymakers, media, academia and nonprofits and is the only report providing a detailed breakdown of the professional assets under management–across all asset classes–that are engaged in sustainable investing strategies.

  • What I think should be changed: Could you please add a sentence to the policy section saying: “In an effort to counter pushback against ESG investing by Republican policy makers in 2023, US SIF published a detailed response to those attacks at ESGTruths.com.”
  • Why it should be changed: US SIF has continually pushed back against anti-ESG/anti-sustainable investing rhetoric and launched ESGTruths.com site to specifically educate on policy topics related to greenwashing claims. The launch of this educational site received significant media coverage and engagement.

  • "Done"--well, I changed the name but didn't make any of the other changes, since we are going to have to see serious secondary sourcing. In fact, I doubt whether this organization meets our notability standards. Drmies (talk) 20:57, 20 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
