Utter nonsense, this article. USB is a Swiss bank, and UBS Securities is their subsidiary, or -- in China -- JV[edit]

No, UBS is not a Chinese company. Look at this from Bloomberg:

== https://www.bloomberg.com/profile/company/5766Z:US UBS Securities LLC UBS Securities LLC operates as the investment banking division of UBS, providing investment and broker-dealer services worldwide. The Company provides services such as equities sales and trading, fixed income products, and treasury products. UBS Securities offers financial services to individual and institutional investors. and also look at https://www.ubs.com/us/en.html

There may be a joint venture in China according to the then Chinese laws on foreign investments in financial operations, but that does not make it a Chinese company.

This article is creating havoc in some people's heads. --L.Willms (talk) 17:00, 24 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
