Tutaikuri[edit]

I’ve seen a few places spelling it Tutaikuri lately, and it was momentarily uncertain that this was the right river; should we have a note, or is this just a misspelling? (Eg [1]) — HTGS (talk) 22:34, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

No macrons[edit]

I think there is confusion here: official name in https://gazetteer.linz.govt.nz/place/6493 is Tutaekuri River with no macrons. There are no alternative spellings listed. There is a sperate river https://gazetteer.linz.govt.nz/place/44988 in the West Coast Region https://gazetteer.linz.govt.nz/place/44988 Tūtaekurī River with two macrons.

I'm going to move back to Tutaekuri River and ensure linked pages are correct. I will eventually create article for the other river and add hatnotes. ShakyIsles (talk) 22:13, 21 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
