Dab lk to "A motif in a Turkish rug"[edit]

It's a shame that so much effort on the Dab Elephant's foot was put into

* Elephant's foot (design), a geometrical design common in Turkomen rugs ("Bukhara rugs") and adapted to some Indian, Pakistani and Iranian rugs, also called Fil Pah

which is not an acceptable Dab entry, and not put into making the accompanying article more worthy of being the target of a lk from that Dab. But i'm ignorant of the subject, and will rely on others to separate the wheat from the chaff and bull-elephant dung.

  • I suspect that it may make sense for "Elephant's foot" to be a sec'n at Gul (design) and both the accompanying article Turkmen rug and the Dab Elephant's foot to lk to "Gul (design)" or that secn of it. ("Gul (design)" is currently my pathetic effort at a substitute for
* A motif in a Turkish rug
at the Dab Elephant's foot, which sucked bcz that article mentions neither EF nor Gul.)

Spelling?[edit]

The article uses the spellings Tekke and Teke in about equal numbers. Is this deliberate? If so, please explain the distinction but if not, please make consistent. Useful article! p.r.newman (talk) 10:51, 6 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
