Casio VL-1 / "chords"[edit]

and live shows often saw Remmler playing some simple preprogrammed chords on his small Casio VL-1 keyboard

The problem with this sentence is that the VL-1 was monophonic (trying to play a chord will result in a single note). Either he wasn't using a Casio VL-1 when he played chords, or he only played its rhythms and/or melodies... - furrykef (Talk at me) 15:43, 13 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A Greek music artist, Christos Dantis, has covered the song 'Da Da Da'.

Is the IMDb wrong?[edit]

Because it has Peter Behrens listed as being born in San Antonio, Texas [1] (yes, you read right), with the same date of birth listed in this article. According to what I've found out about Behrens's father (i.e. he was an American G.I.), it would make sense that he'd be born there but raised in Germany.

Other places that have Behrens born in S.A.: [link to copyvio website removed], [link to copyvio website removed], and this French site. I've found other places with a birth place in S.A. but with the birthdate off by a year. But the biggie is obv the IMDb. Is that wrong? (Krushsister 06:01, 16 October 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Hmm, I just checked stephan-remmler.de and it has Sanderbusch[2]. According to web.archive.org, That source did originally say San Antonio[3]. Yep, the IMDb is definetly wrong. Peter was born in Sanderbusch. He is a son of a GI and he raised up to his 5th birthday in Texas. In some interviews he pretended to be born in Texas, but that's wrong. I saw his (German) passport two years ago when we met. I'm thinking that the popular culture section may not qualify as trivia because it doesn't have the accepted format for trivia. Confusing[edit]

The article has gotten confusing over time. Since the information about the albums has been moved to the end of the article, the statement "The band also produced a number of singles" is a strange opener. (Especially since the following sentence is about albums, not singles.) I changed it.

Also: "All of these songs except the first have a corresponding German version, which sometimes differs considerably, and these were also released in the English-speaking world - with unexpected success."

The rest of the article seems to be saying that their only significant success outside Germany was "Da Da Da." This sentence should be backed up with examples. What other German language songs were released outside of Germany, and what was the success? For now, I'm zapping it.

Photo I removed[edit]
