Requested move[edit]

L.C. Walker Sports Arena → L.C. Walker Arena – {the word "Sports" is no longer in the title) M. Burmy

Survey[edit]

  • Support I nominated it, why wouldn't I support it? [[User:M. Burmy|M. Burmy]]

Moved. This is the correct name according to the arena's home page, here, and there is nothing blocking the move. I've moved it and fixed all the links in the other articles and templates to link straight to the new title. Kafziel 21:01, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Contradictory information in article[edit]

Did the arena cost $1 million to build, as is stated in the article, or $2 million, as is stated in the infobox? Also, is it proper to say that the money came from the "estate" of the "late" Mr. Walker in 1960, when it is stated later in the article that he died in 1963? Wouldn't it be more proper to say something to the effect that he "granted" the money or something similar. (An exception could be if he had been declared incompetent prior to 1960 and the funding came from someone empowered to manage his affairs such as a trustee or conservator.)
