Tridel is a private company. I've put in a request to have this page removed as it barely discusses Tridel itself, the information is inaccurate and it is discussing private individuals.

All the information on this page is in the public record. I am concerned if any of the information is inaccurate. Tell me of any problems, and I will make sure to correct them, - SimonP (talk) 02:07, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I received your letter today, and have removed the information in question. For future reference, if you simply post your research on this talk page it would have the same effect as mailing it to me. I do agree that some of newspaper coverage was overly sensational. We should always be careful about biographies of living persons, and also of current companies. One of the main problems with this article was simply that about half of it was devoted to somewhat minor events of some decades ago. Doing a media archive search for Tridel does produce a similar balance, but this doesn't accurately reflect Tridel's history as a company. Let me know what you think of the article now, and tell me if you have any further concerns. I assume someone from the Foundation will be coming by soon, and I will defer any decisions they might make about this page. - SimonP (talk) 22:46, 9 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
