  • Primary concern; globalisation. This exclusively covers the United States and United Kingdom. Do other countries not have this principle? I'll give more specific suggestions if this can be cleared up :). Ironholds (talk) 11:30, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I've added some info on trial as an adult for other countries, and will try to add more as I can. It should be noted that the most other countries do not try practice transferring children to criminal court, and the US is one of the primary countries that does this, which is why there much more of a focus on the US. A few countries that might practice this are Iran, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, etc. and it is difficult to get the all the facts/data about their justice system practices. I will continue to work on globalizing the article though. Mnortonb (talk) 18:40, 13 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
If there's more of a focus on the US, and it can't be turned into a more general article, then perhaps the article ought to be renamed, or perhaps the US material hived off to its own article and treated here in WP:SUMMARYSTYLE. As it stands, it's seriously unbalanced. NB The United Kingdom has three different legal systems (England and Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland) and I would anticipate that the Scottish provisions differ from the English ones. In any event, the UK section lacks any real detail or references. Youth justice in England and Wales is hardly a shining example of Wikipedia's best work, but it might be worth reading and treating in summary style here. Personally, I would have been inclined to fail this article straightaway so that this major rewriting didn't take place during a GA review, but that's Ironhold's call. Yeah, I wanted to give him a chance to explain, but I'll quickfail it now :). Ironholds (talk) 01:46, 12 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
