Travis S. TaylorTravis Taylor, Aerospace Engineer – Because the S does not really specify him that easily, so it should change to this name to help specify him the best. WaussusBeaver (talk) 22:08, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose. Subject's WP:COMMONNAME is indeed Travis S. Taylor, as depicted in the article's main title header and confirmed by all references. No need for further identification and particularly not through the use of the proposed form. —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 01:50, 13 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Unfair categorization[edit]

Calling him a “pseudo-scientist” just because he is involved with entertainment media concerning ufos is unfair. His methods and credentials are in fact scientific. 2601:3CB:480:2C00:8D95:3E99:E211:402D (talk) 04:08, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Credentials? Yeah. Methods? Ehh, I haven't seen any WP:RS or scientists take a stance on his methods, but that lack of analysis cuts both ways so I'll remove the "pseudo" until there is sourcing making that claim. TulsaPoliticsFan (talk) 04:36, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

"informal chief scientist" is incorrect[edit]

Jay Stratton, the Director of UAP TF has verified that Dr. Taylor was introduced as The Chief Scientist at all meetings with the HPSCI, SSCI, and White House Science Policy Staff between 2019 and 2021. FOIA requests from John Greenwald have shown emails with Chief Scientist UAPTF in his signature block Nick Pope has also verified this. Jay Stratton has stated this on interviews with George Knapp. 50.233.193.146 (talk) 15:20, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

He is also a Professional Engineer licensed in Alabama[edit]
