Airing date[edit]

The page contradicts itself. On the one hand it says that it premiered on May 10th, yet in another section it says it aired on May 30th. What's going on here? "The pilot episode aired at 9 pm on May 30, immediately followed by episode "The Retreat" at 10 pm." --Jaymo 10:00, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As currently written, it is unclear. The pilot aired twice, premiering on the 10th and being repeated on the 30th. --GargoyleMT 13:15, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Attacks[edit]

Did I miss something in the pilot episode? I don't remember any information linking Will Traveler to any of the other WTC attacks.

--Legionsynch 19:08, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't remember either. I was slightly distracted while the episode was airing. I was clarifying info that was in the article. I don't remember if he was specifically tied to WTC or not, but I do remember they said he was a terrorist. --黒雲 user:Qaddosh 21:38, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I do believe they mentioned WTC but not in relation to the bombing of the museum. IIRC, they said something along the lines of "After 9/11, we have to take these things seriously" - something along those lines. 172.132.75.110 19:09, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ratings[edit]

Where are these ratings coming from? Should they be cited, to ensure they're not being arbitrarily changed by editors (or vandals)? --GargoyleMT 14:27, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Links[edit]

Can we just decide whether or not that link should be included or not, instead of changing it, then changing it back, then reverting it, etc? There's got to be better uses for our time. ;) --Legionsynch 20:04, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm pretty sure Kicheto (contribs) is using this page as an advertisement for his own site, seeing as the only edits he has made is for that link. See WP:EL#Advertising_and_conflicts_of_interest. Also, most TV series pages don't have external links to fan sites (see Lost, House, Heroes, etc). --JYi 20:40, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Episode names for 7 and 8[edit]

Even though The Futon Critic does not have episode names for 7 and 8, TV.com does here. Is there any reason that this would not be a reliable source? --JYi 08:14, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm the editor for the guide at TV.com... I inherited those titles from the previous editor, thus I have no way of knowing if they're accurate. (also, TV.com isn't a reliable source as it's user submitted -- much like a wiki) Matthew 08:19, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I worked on the series - Episode 7 is called "THE REUNION" and Episode 8 is called "THE EXCHANGE". My IMDB credits - oxfordstandard

Do you have a relationship with the production company? You may not be NPOV. I believe that there are rules against your participation, except perhaps to correct obective errors. Since you are participating, perhaps you can answer one question -- why does Hollywood produce so many "government conspiracy" shows, like Traveler and the late Jericho? Is it a political bias, or is it because government officials are an "easy mark" -- they can't fight back, they don't picket, etc.?68.5.64.178 07:09, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ars Gratia Artis (I think I got that right... Life Imitates Art). Honestly, though, the producers are just catering to the fear and fascination we all have about terrorism, our government, and the very little ANY of us know about what our government is really doing. "I love my country, but I fear my government." --Bill W. Smith, Jr. (talk/contribs) 05:13, 6 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
just an unrelated fyi comment: Ars Gratia Artis means "art for the sake of art" or "art for art's sake"
I just KNEW I had that sightly wrong! :) Thanks for the correction. --Bill W. Smith, Jr. (talk/contribs) 06:21, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rating[edit]

If a source is not provided,the information can't be used. Rodrigue 17:30, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Can someone give me some information on "The Out". I missed that one.

Nothing more?[edit]

Hmm without trying to spoil anything. But they can't end a series like this, like they did... if the episode order was only for 8 episodes? :( CHANDLER   06:18, 19 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Save Traveler Campaign[edit]

This section should be removed, at least how it is now. --Hookedonlsd 13:51, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

whats wrong with it? am also wondering whats wrong with. I loved it...its nice —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.199.162.210 (talk) 15:33, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Restoration of details[edit]

I'm restoring the highly informative details that were removed. The person who removed the info gave a downright silly reason: the it makes the article too long. This person obviously doesn't know that much about Wikipedia. There are some tremendously long articles on this encyclopedia. And there is nothing wrong with that, articles are supposed to be thorough. -- Thefreemarket (talk) 05:37, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It'd be nice if you could remain civil when initiating discussions, rather than just misrepresenting the other party. What I said when removing the text was:

"Way, way too detailed, needs to be cut down significantly before being restored. (Summary, not exhaustive detail.)"

You still haven't addressed that concern, nor have you discussed the matter. Give me a moment and I'll add some links that will help you to understand what is wrong with your post. --Ckatzchatspy
Okay, here we go. What you've added is far too long, and too detailed, for what Wikipedia considers appropriate coverage of such aspects of the topic. If you look at this guideline, you'll see how it explains what is considered acceptable in terms of plot details. Your text goes far beyond that level of coverage, and would need to be summarized so as to cut it down - probably to at most a third of what you've added. It also needs a rewrite to have a more encyclopedic style. (If you don't believe me, please feel free to ask at the television project.) That doesn't mean that it shouldn't go in - only that given the problems with it, it has to be reworked first. Please, let's try to resolve this amicably. --Ckatzchatspy 05:56, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Censorship?[edit]

Maybe the speculation of censorship leading to the cancellation should be mentioned. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.39.32.138 (talk) 01:57, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
