Title[edit]

Shouldn't this article be titled "Transformers - Music from The Motion Picture"?

I think the title should be "Transformers (soundtrack)".  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 18:09, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Amazon UK list it as "Transformers: The Movie [Soundtrack]". -- JediLofty User ¦ Talk 18:02, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Why not Transformers: The Soundtrack?
Because the album's final cover, spine, and disc clearly state "Transformers: The Album". Anybody who actualy bought it will tell you the same thing, unless there really is a version of the soundtrack on store shelves with the words "Music from The Motion Picture" printed on the cover. Oh, and just because Amazon.com lists it as "Transformers: The Movie [Soundtrack]" doesn't make it the definitive name. In the end it's what Warner Bros. lists the title as that's final. Not Amazon.com or any other on or offline retailer. Amazon.com doesn't always get names to soundtrack albums correct. Sarujo 03:38, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Where did the orchestration go? There seem to be no such album released yet, any one know the story here?

Meatbee[edit]

The MeatBee-whatever info reeks of advertisement. Hey, I just recorded myself singing the transformers theme, too, lemme list that here.

Well, I added it, and I have no interest in the band beyond the local cultural significance of their recording and their campaign to get it on the soundtrack. No doubt other bands have covered it, but few (if any) actually sent their versions to the producers in a serious attempt to be included, or were reportedly liked by Spielberg etc. I think it should stay, though perhaps a briefer version is appropriate. -- Guybrush 04:38, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Confirmation of score release[edit]

As much as I would love to have the score released, not having a source saying a release date of October casts doubt. Does anyone have a source? Otherwise, it should be taken out. Anakinjmt 00:55, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Release Date[edit]

Like the release date for the film itself in the US- July 4th, 2007 (written as 07-04-07, or 7-4-7 on the movie's posters; a vague yet recognizable [though unrelated] reference to the Boeing 747 jumbo jet)- the Score's release date (October 9th) also has matching numbers to the month and day: 09-09 or 9-9, though whether this is intentional is uncertain at this time.

ummmm. October is the tenth month of the year not ninth. --Jacenskylo 05:03, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Shine With Me (Sam and Mikaela's Theme)[edit]

As I recall there's only twelve tracks in my copy of this album and P.O.D.'s "Shine With Me" is not to be found. So is this song a bonus track for some special release, or download? If it's "only" heard at some point in the film and is not in this album then it's need to be added in songs and scores not featured section. Sarujo (talk) 17:40, 11 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hip Hop Song[edit]

What was the name of the song that plays at Glen Whitmann's house when Maggie goes to see him? Sarujo (talk) 21:15, 11 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Credits[edit]

I had ordered all the soundtracks and score albums of Transformers, and in the credits it was written Linkin Park. So I think there should be soundtrack chronology by Linkin Park just like it is for Eminem for Music from and Inspired by the Motion Picture 8 Mile. There it is written as various artist but chronology includes Eminem. I guess You are right! I have seen this in Flipkart! It is clearly written there, that it is a soundtrack by Linkin Park. But excluding the score for the second part, there isn't credited to them! 115.118.16.213 (talk) 10:28, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
