Creating a generic local government in New Jersey article

Would be helpful if someone could discern the differences between the types of NJ governments in this page, or create a new page explaining the differences between the forms of government: city, borough, village, etc. --Areback 21:07, 16 March 2006 (UTC)

It's not a bad idea, but it's much easier said than done. With the addition of the six new forms of government (Walsh Act (New Jersey), 1923 Municipal Manager Law and the four variations of the Faulkner Act (New Jersey)), on top of the five traditional forms (Borough, City, Town, Township and Village) there's no end to the variation. Thanks. Just interested to see a very high level identification of key differences (if possible). For instance - mayor/council/manager/etc structure with each, does one apply to entities of a specific size, is one beneficial over another. Despite your very in-depth and well written wikipedia entries for the numerous types of NJ municipalities, I'm still confused as to the key differences between each.
