Instruments Used in the Film
I was not too irritated, but quite a bit astonished, when Sainte-Colombe tightened his bow via rotary knob, like on a modern bow. Didn't they all use frogs to clip in during the 1600s and early 1700s? For the film they probably used 'baroque bows' as offered on the market today, and it seems even most baroque players don't want that clipping-in hassle these days. Of course I'm not going to trash this wonderful film because of this little detail.--Demoiselle Clarisse (talk) 11:27, 14 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
