Dornick[edit]

I removed the alternative name "Dornick" because I did not find any evidence that this name is actually used in German, as was stated. German wikipedia has an article de:Dornick, but that's about a village in Germany, near Emmerich. No reference to Tournai there, nor is the name "Dornick" mentioned at de:Tournai. I checked the Meyers Konversationslexicon (1888) to see whether it's an old name, but it isn't. Markussep 15:47, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Flagellants[edit]

No mention here of the flagellants? According to H.F. Helmolt, History of the World, Volume VII, Dodd Mead 1902, especially p. 178, Doornik (as he calls it) was the greatest center of this activity in the mid-14th century. See also Commons:Image:The flagellants at Doornik in 1349.jpg, copied from there. - Jmabel | Talk 17:47, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
