Tourist Attraction is a place of interest where domestic or international tourist can visit for a specific purposes. List of tourist attractions[edit]

I suggest that those interested in maintaining the list (if there are any) should split it into a separate page. --Ghirla -трёп- 11:57, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The list should be representative, but must not be too long. More attractions from elsewhere in the world would be good. --Svm2 21:17, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I was just about to suggest a new page of the similar title. However, I think it is unsuitable on Wikipedia and would be better off on Wikitravel. Examples of pages related to tourist attractions that already do exist (or have already been created prior to August 2007) on Wikipedia include List of tourist attractions in Amsterdam (which was nominated for deletion once), List of tourist attractions providing reenactment and List of visitor attractions in Paris. However, before creating the page, I think I need the opinion of several editors first. Please assist by commenting or giving me your opinion and decide, should this page be created or not? Proposed Merger[edit]

  • Support This article consists of little more than a definition. I don't see how this article could be expanded much further, except by listing examples of "tourist destinations"—which would be an exhaustive and arbitrary list. Discussion of specific dynamics of tourist destinations would better go on the respective pages of the cities the destination is associated with. Tourist attraction seems a good "destination" for this article; for a tourist destination is only made notable by the presence of tourist attractions. Novelty attraction section[edit]

Is this not far too US-centric? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dojo99 (talkcontribs) 09:39, 10 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Rewriting[edit]

This doesn't read like encyclopedic content, thus needs a rewrite badly. -- Horst-schlaemma (talk) 11:03, 4 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
