This song is notable for its multi-tracking. MM had Ross sing the song 12 times, and from each of the 12 recorded versions, he took the best part from each.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.244.188.131 (talk) 19:16, 28 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the move request was: moved. (non-admin closure) {{ping|ClydeFranklin}} (t/c) 21:50, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

– Not primary topic. Per statistics, the viewing gap between the song and the parent album is very low at best, even when the song has more views than the album. If moved, the stats for the song may drop more. Regarding significance, one is no greater than the other, so that comes down to usage or viewership. • Support per nomination. There are three entries listed upon the Touch Me in the Morning (disambiguation) page, with no indication that the song's renown overwhelms the combined notability of the album and the film. —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 16:19, 19 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support well spotted. In ictu oculi (talk) 18:38, 19 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per nom. Crouch, Swale (talk) 18:24, 20 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose per WP:IAR. This is a two-dab situation. Under the current situation about half the people searching with "touch me in the morning" are taken to the article they are seeking, and the other half is one (hatnote link) click away from the article they are seeking. In fact, it's likely the vast majority interested in one are interested in the other, which is probably why the page view counts are practically identical. So now we're going to create a third article (the dab page) which literally nobody wants, and send everyone there??? This is the height of bureaucratic insanity. No way does this proposed configuration improve anything for anyone. I think the section on primary topic needs to be revised to take these situations better into account, but for now, in the name of improving Wikipedia, we need to ignore it. Relisting requested. --В²C 05:05, 25 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Relisting comment: Relisting to see if we really should ignore the rules on this one. ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 12:12, 25 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support the dab page clearly has 3 entries, for 3 different articles aside from the dab page (which would make 4 pages). So move the dab page to the primary position -- 65.92.244.249 (talk) 05:47, 27 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
