Honorific 'Her Worship'[edit]

It seems according to advice from Clerk of the Executive Council use of an honorific was custom and itsn't automatic. The previous Mayor didnt prefer that style and was happy with 'The Mayor' same went for previous Auckland mayor

Maybe we can leave it up to the Mayor herself to make that decision Okerefalls (talk) 20:23, 22 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

"Controversies" section NPOV[edit]

I'm worried that the "Controversies" section is trivial at best, and could compromise neutrality. For comparison, Christopher Luxon and Winston Peters have both had their share of "controversies" if you can call them that - a few I can name off the top of my head are the $52k payment and the recent comparison of Labour to the Nazis, respectively - but neither man has a "controversies" section. Given the brevity of Whānau's article and the tabloid-like feel to the section I think consensus is needed as to whether the dine-and-dashing and dog controversies are WP:UNDUE. I think at the very least a trimmed version of them could go in a "personal life" section. 222.152.26.228 (talk) 12:45, 17 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the section, putting the alcohol-related controversies into the career section. I think these are notable. The dog controversy does not appear to be notable and I have removed it.-Gadfium (talk) 20:33, 17 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sections could help. The page reads like a sequence of events rather than an encyclopaedic overview. Perhaps "political disputes" and "Policies"? Somej (talk) 20:57, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
