Connection to Rogue[edit]

What exactly was Tor's connection to Rogue? My 2000ad buying was a bit patchy around then, so all I "know" was that Tor appeard to have been re-cloned from the data on Rogue's biochip. So he would have been a clone of Rogue? Kelvingreen 15:43, 5 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Also, the Tor/Rogue crossover story from one of the end-of-year progs (the first one I think) hasn't been included on the list, although that may be because it's technically a Mercy Heights rather than Tor Cyan story (although it's not mentioned on theMH page either)? The story should also perhaps be added to 2000_AD_crossovers#Rogue_Trooper. Kelvingreen 10:34, 3 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Information about Tor Cyan's origin[edit]

  • @Nikkimaria and Kelvingreen: I have restored the external link to information about Tor Cyan's origin: [1] and [2] (British Comics wikia). The objection when it was deleted was a link to Wikipedia:External links#Links normally to be avoided, whose entry #12 is "Open wikis, except those with a substantial history of stability and a substantial number of editors.". But this information about him is important to those interested in his history: see the previous section. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 14:43, 5 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Whether the information is interesting or not is not, it still fails ELNO and so still should not be included. Since per WP:ELBURDEN disputed links are excluded by default until there is active consensus for inclusion, I have undone your edit. (Note also that citations are appropriately placed before external links per MOS:LAYOUT). Suggest if the origin story is of interest, reliable sources should be found to describe it in more detail in the article. Nikkimaria (talk) 14:54, 5 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
