Birth date[edit]

The 1927 birth date can't be correct; Tom Hagen was older than Michael Corleone and Michael was old enough to enlist in the Marines when WWII broke out. In the Godfather storyline, Hagen is an established lawyer by 1945, which certainly would make him older than 18. Removed birthdate until a more accurate one can be substituted. The book states Tom Hagen was born in 1910 when it states in the beginning he was 35 years old in 1945.

Game[edit]

It should be established that Hagen/Duvall played a big role in the 'Godfather' game for XBOX. I'm blanking on how to do this. Lots42 (talk) 12:27, 9 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Theresa Hagen[edit]

I consider Theresa a German American, just like Tom. In Godfather she is pictured with blond German braids, I am sure, an Italien woman would have had a different hairdo. From "Italien stock"? Is that what the book says about Theresa? 91.65.17.7 (talk) 23:41, 19 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • That would not make sense, as it is important to the story that Hagen is NOT Italian. Lots42 (talk) 17:47, 30 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
As I recall, in the novel, Theresa is American Italian, not if German ancestry like To. Hagen wanted to integrate himself into Italian culture as much as possible, and therefore married an Italian. There are blonde Italians (more from the Northern region and due, I believe, to Vikings settling in that area centuries before). I'm not sure braids are only what Germans, wore particularly in the USA where many different styles are adopted by people of all cultures.PNW Raven (talk)

Overhauling the article.[edit]

I'm overhauling the Hagen article (and other Godfather pages) to reduce excessive length and detail and to eliminate the in-universe style.PNW Raven (talk) 21:51, 18 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

There's a real Tom Hagen[edit]

One of Norway's richest people, an investor whose wife was kidnapped. CBS, January 9, 2019 I think he should be mentioned in the beginning, ideally this should become a disambiguation page and there should be a separate article for him. Crotopaxi (talk) 15:20, 9 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I started an article at Tom Hagen (businessman). Џ 20:17, 9 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Great, thanks! Crotopaxi (talk) 12:44, 10 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
