Untitled[edit]

I have been a fan of 'Space Prison' since I bought a copy for a dime in 1963 when I was nine years old. I've since collected and read all of Tom Godwin's published works that I've been able to find - including one story, 'She Was a Child', that I only just discovered last week - and I'm now into collecting foreign editions. The only Edits to a Wiki article that I've ever made were to add Tom Godwin stories to the list on his page. Tom Godwin's life was hard, but the legacy of his writing lives on. godwulfAZ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:8800:189:900:6553:444:6BE8:C503 (talk) 18:41, 27 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Who ever wrote this article needs to put way more into it and it isnt just your website it is a lot of people I am doing a little english project and i need to find 10 things on Tom Godwin and I have only found 3 without playjourizing!!!! Thank you, Curious

I agree with whoever Curious is, but I think yall need to put way more into this and there will be a lot more people on your site because a lot of your links are like this were it will only be a couple of paragraphs no offense or anything!!! Thanx, Tireka

You guys don't really help by merely dropping by and saying "LOL u needz mor info kthxbai", you know. The fact is that Wikipedia is always a work in progress, and its sheer scope means that many articles go under-developed, something you'll just have to live with, if you're not going to be ambitious enough to actually bother to edit it yourself. That said, This actually isn't an uninformative article... so much as an untrustworthy one, and I say this as someone familiar with the site and its policies. A good chunk of the background on the man's life, for instance, including the assertion that he was "gay", do not have citations, but definitely should. For all we know, somebody made that up out of their ass one day for a lark... 70.118.80.144 (talk) 02:00, 29 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Whoever wrote this article is a dimwit. SPACE PRISON is one of the greatest Science-Fiction novels ever written. It is 'not notable' only to dimwits! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.169.19.101 (talk) 14:54, 30 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ohio High School?[edit]

The Encyclopedia of Science Fiction, pg 504, says he left school in the third grade. Although a high school in Ohio sounds more plausible for a writer the person who added it also stated that he "was a fan of squirrels" so is maybe not reliable. His stepdaughter, Diane Godwin Sullivan, wrote something on him but I can't seem to find a copy of her statements online.--T. Anthony (talk) 13:14, 11 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
