Polisario Regurging & Context[edit]

As amusing as it is to see an article about an Algerian province be largely about the Western Saharan obsessions of some activists, a note on accuracy. I am unaware that there is reliable 3rd party data (and I mean proper stastical survey data) backing up literacy and similar socio-economic claims put forth by Polisario, and repeated here more or less verbatim. While these claims may be true, unless there are such data, it would be best to phrase the statements as "Party X indicates" or "Party X claims" collounsbury 15:44, 17 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. Agree that the refugee info should be located at "Sahrawi refugee camps" or "Tindouf refugee camps" or something like that. It was originally found at Tindouf, the city, and I moved it from there to here, which is better. But please feel free to move it to a new page, I'm just too lazy to go through the hassle. You're obviously correct about statistics, will rephrase as you suggested. Arre 18:40, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Meh, did some of it, added lots of sources (mainly WFP and such), plus minor reorganization. Also a little bit more on the background & history of the Algerian province, plus a chapter on the population numbers debate, which was entirely missing. This needs more work both for POV (mainly attributing, as you suggested) and for readability. But most of all it just needs sources to document claims. Either way I don't have time for much more right now. Arre 20:03, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
