Why is there an example for SRT in an article about Timed Text? The only connection is that both are subtitle formats.--88.74.205.16 (talk) 04:00, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There seems to be confusion about the scope of the article. What is it about, subtitles in general or the subtitle format(s) called "Timed Text"? (MPEG-4 Part 17, TTML, DFXP -- not sure if and how these differ) If it's about subtitles in general, that W3C box has to go.--94.222.212.51 (talk) 10:10, 15 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

So what exactly is DFXP? Is it the new name for TTML or a subset? It has been popping up in other Wikipedia articles but there's no article for it.--88.73.157.234 (talk) 17:29, 15 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

See Commons:Timed Text for deeper information about TT, srl and their relations. --BoldLuis (talk) 02:03, 2 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
