− I can swear I've heard multiple versions of this song, even if all obviously done by the zombies. Maybe there was a re-record done by Argent or there was a singles version?

Cover and samples

This article is facing a problem that is not uncommon to song articles - it has been covered and sampled so often that the list is turning into a trivia pit. I've removed the reference to sampling, but there are too many recorded versions and notable performances (AMerican Idol) to be listed; we'll have to figure out some way to condense it - DavidWBrooks (talk) 13:57, 8 February 2015 (UTC)

First US Release

Has it ever been confirmed that Date records actually released Time of the Season/I'll Call You Mine (as Date 1604)? In 35 years of collecting I've yet to see a copy - stock or promo - or run into anyone who has a copy. Including any images of the disc on the internet - I don't think it was ever put out. Use in TV shows

I have removed all examples of its use in scenes from TV programs, because there are too many to count. There was no reason to, say, including an example from "Friends" but not from "The Simpsons", etc. - it was turning into a pointless list. As long as we acknowledge that it is frequently used, which helps place it within pop-culture context, that's enough. - DavidWBrooks (talk) 19:40, 23 July 2015 (UTC)
