Pippin and Thunderbolt: One ride or two?[edit]

This article claims that Pippin was redesigned into the Thunderbolt. The article The Pippin (Kennywood) claims that most of it was torn down, and the Thunderbold was a new ride. This has obvious implications for the future of the articles - one article or two? Info, anyone? --Alvestrand 21:45, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thus the Thunderbolt incorporated elements of The Pippin, it seems to be a continuation of it... and the two articles should be merged. It would definitely be a plus to have a strong history section for such a noteworthy coaster. Plus there is already precedent: Phantom's Revenge and Steel Phantom are the same article, and the former is the continuation of the latter. 147.70.242.40 01:03, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
