KOTR[edit]

I'm partial to moving the KOTR content, however the separate KOTR page needs to be updated first. --Huphtur (talk) 12:09, 9 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

ÈI don't think it makes sense to merge King of the Road and Thrasher Magazine. I strongly believe that a search on the homepage for the phrase "King of the road" should lead to the disambiguation page: [[1]], because someone searching the phrase could be looking for one of many things...a Roger Miller song, a Fu Manchu album, a Wim Wenders film, etc... Rkathleen 23:41, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think King Of The Road should be merged into Thrasher Magazine.. King of the road is deffinitly something else.. the only thing is that KotR is organized by Trasher.. So a link should be enough ;)

(srry fot bad language.. i'm dutch :o )

It should definitely be merged. it's a thrasher feature, not a different title or brand or product... and the Thrasher wiki page is practically a stub itself. merge":df,df,d,ds sd!

I disagree. The King of the road article should be extended and if we added all the information available, there would to much info to put in the Thrasher article. I think it would be a good idea to make a little section King of the road and make a Main article link...--KoRnholio8 09:13, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think that this article should have a section about skate-rock so I added it. I dont know the name of volume 9 so if anybody does, tell me. Marshmellow Mind 20:10, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wow. I was surprised when there was no Thrasher article, now I'm surprised it's grown so much. I feel all warm and fuzzy. Now I can go tell mom and dad I've done something with my life and I'm a contributing member of society (even though I was drunk when I started the article, it was a stub, and it read like crap). --Johnny (Cuervo) 00:12, 6 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Silas Baxter-Neal[edit]

We need to build an article for Silas Baxter-Neal. --Travis Thurston+ 07:08, 15 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hey guys, I am looking to make a page for the newest pro on plan b Chris Joslin. He has been putting in a lot of work recently and has had a lot of coverage in 2015. I was planning on getting my information through interviews in magazines as well as videos. I was also going to acquire information through his video parts as well as contests talking about him. Does anyone have any suggestions or comments about this? Kat Noaga (talk) 21:00, 2 November 2015 (UTC) Noaga[reply]

Skater of The Year[edit]

Current entry for SOTY states it's based on public vote. This is incorrect, the winner is handpicked by Jake Phelps and the online vote is simply a way to keep readers occupied. Anyone care if we put "public vote" in quotes?

Semi-protected edit request on 3 December 2016[edit]

2011: Grant Taylor 2012: David Gonzalez 2013: Ishod Wair[12] 2014: Wes Kremer[12] 2015: Anthony van Engelen[13] -2016: Dillon Fischer

Please remove "Dillon Fischer" from the 2016 spot of skater of the year. The 2016 Skater of the Year has not yet been announced. Derkmar (talk) 23:36, 3 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Unable to find much secondary coverage specifically about this compilation. Tried PROD, but another editor removed, so I'm proposing a merge instead. --Another Believer (Talk) 16:02, 18 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose It's a standalone record, I don't see the need for it to be merged. CaffeinAddict (talk) 03:17, 19 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose Standalone record. Thriley (talk) 15:09, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Strong support This article already contains that album's tracklist, here, which happens to be the only information the standalone album article contains and there's no need for duplication. Besides, I can find no evidence that the album is individually notable, which is on its own sufficient reason for a merge. Lennart97 (talk) 14:23, 19 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose Standalone record should continue. I added citations. --Wil540 art (talk) 22:14, 21 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Still fails WP:NALBUM, though. And still no content beyond a tracklist, so, quoting NALBUM: Album articles with little more than a track listing may be more appropriately merged into the artist's main article or discography article, space permitting. That definitely applies here. And again, it already is appropriately merged, so there's really no reason to keep this duplicate content around. Lennart97 (talk) 22:27, 21 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
