There are still several gaps missing about his early life and time on the Rock.

Date of death[edit]

The date of the escape attempt was May 23rd, 1938, also the date of Limerick's death. However, the article says Limerick died the following day, which would make it May 24th. A publication I have, bought on a visit to Alcatraz, says that he died during the night. Limerick also did not surrender to the guards. He suffered a lethal head wound and was incapacitated. It's also probably unnecessary to mention that Lucas was not wounded. Flanker235 (talk) 09:57, 31 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
