Recent issue with Syracuse University[edit]

Throwing out for discussion. How, if at all, should the recent events at Syracuse University be covered. The initial edit that mentions it is the following.

Fraternities and sororities often make headlines for controversial behavior and the results that follow. Historically, Wikipedia entries do make mention of these incidents. Not doing so in the case of Syracuse Theta Tau would be highly aberrational. Please do not delete cited reference to this incident until discussion has taken place here. Two suggestions for changes

Move the text into a level 2 section called controversies to reflect the way it is on other GLO pages.
change to say suspended the chapter of theta tau.Naraht (talk)•

Alternatively, a note about the offending chapter could be linked as a reference against that specific chapter, rather than in a nationally focused article. This does not appear to be a systemic problem. Jax MN (talk) 06:36, 24 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I am removing the following alumni from the article to here until their notability can be confirmed, either with a Wikipedia article or adequate sources.

Proposed Restore of chapter conduct[edit]

The recently removed section on chapter conduct is quite suitable for the article, we have many other fraternity articles where similar chapter conduct issues are covered.Naraht (talk) 17:03, 28 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
