McCoy edits[edit]

I reverted this post because it focuses too much on someone from Thermopolis rather than Thermopolis itself. This here,

"He served in WWI in the US Army Artillary branch, and rose to the rank of Lt. Colonel. He spend WWII in England was was awarded a Bronze Star, and promotion to full Colonel.

In the 1950s McCoy hosted his own television program on KTLA in Los Angeles and was awarded a local Emmy for his work. A regular visitor on the progrm was the Cryin' Indian Iron Eyes Cody."

has absolutely NOTHING to do with Thermopolis itself. The article is not about the history of people from Thermopolis, or random info about people in Thermopolis, it's about the city of Thermopolis.

So either the information recently added needs to be removed or edited a lot more so it doesn't include random information about a TV station in LA... Phaldo 15:22, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good point. We should just cut it back to a single reference of him, turn it into a link, and move this stuff to his article, if necessary. - DavidWBrooks 15:53, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

John Winter / notable[edit]

John Winter is listed on this page as being a notable person connected to Thermopolis but I can't find a reason to connect him. Is there one? Beingafactoid (talk) 15:34, 2 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
