Untitled[edit]

An infobox for the 1960 Percy Faith version of "Theme from A Summer Place" was requested at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Missing_encyclopedic_articles/List_of_notable_songs/13.

text removal[edit]

I deleted numerous pop culture references for the following reasons. 1. there was no gorilla battle in ace ventura. 2. there is no such movie as skidmark. (according to imdb) 3. there is no movie called 'nipple freeze'. 4. I was forced to a google search to verify that there is no movie called nipple freeze. 5. Neo doesn't eat sushi in The Matrix. 6. The nonexistant sushi would probably not turn into Chewbacca and commit that mentioned act. anyone with problems about this can talk to me on my talk page. vanis314 (talk) 02:58, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, now somebody has to make a movie called "Nipple Freeze." ---------User:DanTD (talk) 14:29, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox[edit]

If Percy Faith recorded the most popular version of the tune, why is there a "The Lettermen" infobox on this article? One of several covers, which reached number sixteen on the Billboard Hot 100, is it really that important? 86.41.30.165 (talk) 19:40, 23 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ha! I came here to ask exactly the same question; in view of it being unanswered, I have removed the infobox. If there has to be a promotion, then surely it should probably be the Percy Faith version. Heenan73 (talk) 19:56, 22 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox correction[edit]

Corrected infobox to reflect the proper B-side for the original 1959 US release, which was "Go-Go-Po-Go", not the Love Theme from Romeo and Juliet. There might well be a later reiussue with that tracks, but assuming that refers to the music from the late-1960s film, it would not be correct for the 1959 release. Link provided to the 45cat.org entry for the single which has scans for visual verification. 50.66.121.20 (talk) 22:50, 19 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Paul Mauriat[edit]

Nothing about the 1972 remake by Paul Mauriat with the album cover featuring Angela Cartwright? ---------User:DanTD (talk) 14:27, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
