Merge proposal[edit]

I am proposing that the article called Oh, Mr. Toad be merged into this page. As it says in both articles, Oh, Mr. Toad was really the fifth season of the show, produced as one continuous production, and broadcast one year after the fourth season. The only difference is a new title and theme song, and in some countries, all five seasons air as The Wind in the Willows. Right now, there's just one link to the Oh, Mr. Toad page at the top (which wasn't even linked until I edited the page today), and it's not sufficiently clear that Oh, Mr. Toad is a fifth season rather than a spinoff.

I would like to copy the episode table from the Oh, Mr. Toad page to this page as the fifth season, with explanation of the title and theme song change. I think that this will make it easier for readers to understand the relationship between the two shows. Does anyone object? — Toughpigs (talk) 17:50, 17 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

No Objections. Go Ahead — Preceding unsigned comment added by PlaneCeiling912 (talkcontribs) 16:37, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I support merging them. Media databases such as TVDB display them together as a single show. Citation: https://www.thetvdb.com/series/the-wind-in-the-willows gmcomp (talk) 17:44, 1 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks PlaneCeiling912 and Gmcomp. I've merged the pages now. — Toughpigs (talk) 03:24, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
