Wesele[edit]

It has been proposed that The Wedding (1972 film) be moved to Wesele for the sake of simplicity? There’s no article on the play by Wyspiański called "Wesele" and yet, the spoiler for the film reveals its entire plot with ending details. “Wesele” is the original title of the 1901 play on which movie by Wajda (1972) was based. In case of a naming conflict between the two, the title can be expanded in future articles on the same subject, which is unlikely considering, that the story line and the history of the play are already explained here. One good example of a similar simplification is Being There with two paralel meanings. Is a well known movie based on a well known book, combined into one article. Both are closely related.

BTW - The Wedding (2004 film) made by Smarzowski is a modern comedy that has nothing to do with "Wesele" by Wyspiański and the Young Poland movement, or Wajda and his cinematography. For example, at the Internet Movie Database it goes by the title "Wesele (2004)" and not "The Wedding". [1] That's the way it could also be named in Wikipedia. Thanks for the understanding. --Poeticbent  talk  22:44, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have copied relevant fragments and created the The Wedding (1901 play) article. Wesele now redirects there.-- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk  15:46, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Marek Perepeczko - Wesele (1972).jpg[edit]

Image:Marek Perepeczko - Wesele (1972).jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
